We aim to call you back the same day and can usually be out to look at it within a day or two. The consultation and the quote are both free and there is no obligation to go ahead, so if you just want to know whether something is serious it is worth getting in touch.
Usually, yes. Broken or slipped ridge tiles are the most common cause we see, and both of our recent leak jobs were exactly that - found, re-bedded, repointed and the leak stopped. We look at the whole roof before we quote, because the wet patch inside is rarely directly under the problem.
A repair that will hold is always cheaper than a roof you did not need, and we will tell you which one you are looking at. One of our reviews is from a customer who had been quoted outrageous prices elsewhere for work that turned out to be a repair. If the roof genuinely needs replacing we will say that too, and show you why.
Not once we have quoted. The figure in writing is the figure you pay. If we open something up and genuinely find more than either of us could see from the ground, we stop and talk it through with you before doing any extra work.
